Old Time Gospel Hour was formed from fragments of various Austrian punk and hardcore bands - roots that are still reflected in the band's DIY approach today. In addition to their admiration for bands like Neurosis, the love of jazz and fusion also plays a big role in their musical inspiration. Sandro Marton, Markus Storf, and Jonas Aaron have found their sonic home in experimental metal.
