After seeing Bryan Lobasso perform live with Leo Romero at the Four Star Theater in San Francisco, I was blown away by his performance on stage. Soon after the show, Bryan and I got together to shoot a musical performance. In admiration of Bryan and his love for music, I wanted to shoot 16mm. Our location, the Rotunda in Oakland, had an magnificent afternoon light cast practically tailored for shooting film.
